From the oversized, flat driveway, a few short steps lead you to a welcoming covered deck and into the heart of the home—the Great Room, complete with cozy seating, cable TV, Apple TV, DVD player, stereo, and high-speed WiFi. The open floor plan flows into a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and a half bath with full-size washer and dryer—all designed for convenience and relaxation.
Step through the sliding glass doors and you’re on the spacious pool deck, with both covered and open areas perfect for lounging, swimming, and dining alfresco under the stars.
Private & Comfortable Sleeping Spaces
- The main-level master suite features a king bed with an ultra-comfortable memory foam mattress, breathtaking views of Fish Bay, private access to the deck, and a spacious en suite bathroom tucked away for added privacy.
- The lower-level suite offers a queen bed, sofa, and two trundle beds (use as two twins or one king). With its own private entrance, full en suite bath, and deck access via sliding doors, it’s an ideal space for guests or family.

The 8’ x 13’ dipping pool is surrounded by lush gardens and offers both sun and shade. Four loungers and a dining area for six create a perfect outdoor retreat, along with a BBQ grill for casual BBQs.

Just a short walk from the villa, explore Reef Bay Beach and its hidden gems:
- Snorkel calm waters or watch surfers when the sea’s up
- Hike to Windsurf Beach, Reef Bay Sugar Mill Ruins, and the Taino petroglyphs carved into ancient stone
- Continue on the Reef Bay Trail, connecting to deeper National Park trails toward Europa or Lameshur Bay

Great vacation at Fish Tales
We had a wonderful stay at Fish Tales! It was everything we needed and hoped for. The little pool was perfect for our children ages 4-10. Tammy was very attentive when we needed her (for minor questions). Overall, a great vacation and we’ll be back!

Great times at Fish Tales
We enjoyed our stay here with our kiddos. We enjoyed looking at the stars on the deck. We also enjoyed the pool. The view is great and we will be back! Dyana and Tammy were helpful and great. Thank you!

Fun house near Reef Bay
The house has a nice view over fish Bay and out to little St James to the west. It is easy to get to, would recommend 4 wheel drive for St. John. The breeze through the house is wonderful and there are fans in each room. AC in both bedrooms works fine. It is a short hike from the house down to Reef Bay and then if you are adventurous over to the reef bay trail. We went from there all the way over it little lameshur and snorkeled and came back within a day. The views are amazing! The neighborhood is clean and safe and there are areas to walk. The property manager and the person who meets you at the ferry and drives with you to the property are very knowledgeable and nice and will take care of any issues. Thanks to the property manager for taking care of us when we were delayed a day because we missed our flight! We had a blast hiking and going to beaches all over the island and looking at the stars at night out on the deck. Highly recommended!!

Great stay at Fish Bay
Everyone had a great time staying at Fish Bay. The location was nice and quiet with a nice view of the bay and almost-daily rainbows. There is a pond down below with various ducks and wading birds ( and lucky for us a Scarlet Ibis)!!! The cottage had a nice homey and relaxing feel. We had everything we needed to cook or grill with. Coolers to pack lunch for the day and beach towels. Also had a spotting scope, which came in handy for watching the Scarlet Ibis. The pool was nice to come back to after a day of hiking. Everyone at Fish Bay was very prompt in answering any questions we had. A special shout out to Dayna for trying to keep up with our incoming flight being delayed several times,( just catching the last ferry to St.John), and helping us out on our hike!! We traveled all over the Island and were always glad to come back to Fish Bay. Would highly recommend staying here.

Fantastic property that was just as advertised

Perfect spot to relax on the island!
Our stay at Fish Tails was absolutely wonderful!! The home was clean, comfortable, and we had everything needed to enjoy a delicious Thanksgiving meal for the holiday. Communication with Tammy was spot on, and we would definitely recommend this stay to anyone coming to St. John.
