Fish Tales is a very cozy two bedroom, 2.5 bath Caribbean Cottage with new spilt AC units and lovely water views of Fish Bay and the south shore out to Bovocap Point & Little St James Island. A flat, oversized driveway conveniently provides parking and easy access inside to the comfortable home!! A couple of short steps up from the driveway and you access the home through a covered deck. The door takes you in to the Great Room with cozy seating, TV/DVD player and Stereo. CABLE TV and APPLE TV and WIFI. Kitchen and Dining area as well as 1/2 bath with full size laundry all flow easily off the great room. The sliding door of the living room area leads to your massive covered/uncovered pool deck. The other end of the Great Room houses a door into the master bedroom, and an indoor stairway leading down to another bedroom. An expansive master bedroom with stellar views of the city and a King bed + ultra comfortable memory foam mattress. The dining room has a sliding door out to the covered deck. All of that, in addition to a large private en suite bath for the master curling up into its own little corner of privacy. The bottom bedroom comes with a queen-sized bed and a couch, while the trundle means you can have an extra twin or even make one king. Every bed is extremely comfortable memory foam. Outlined against Fish Bay, sliding glass door onto private deck. A private full en suite bath, closet and small beverage refrigerator included as well. Additionally, you can access the lower bedroom from its own entrance off an exterior stairway & deck.
Main Level Outside: The main level has a pool deck (covered and open) Nestled in a garden the dipping pool is 8 x 13 and has areas for lounges (4 included). The outdoor dining table with seating for six as well as a Weber grill is also fantastic — an effortless, cozy outside living area.
A brief walk from the home will bring you to the National Park and Reef Bay. You can walk a short trail and you are on the beach, which is fabulous in calm weather for snorkeling. It gets windier, you can hang out and watch some surfers around the rocks, hike along over lower stones to a second beach (Windsurf Beach) then back off on trails to a third cove with Reef Bay Sugar Mill Ruins. After, hike up the Reef Bay trail to see the Tanino Indian petroglyphs carved into stone with primitive tools. For those feeling more adventurous and ready to explore Garden’s trails further, the Reef Bay Trail also offers connections you can use take down other trails towards Europa or Lamshur Bay.
Fish Tales is a peaceful and secure place in the woods, not far from downtown Cruz Bay (15 minutes by car). Enjoy!

Great vacation at Fish Tales
We had a wonderful stay at Fish Tales! It was everything we needed and hoped for. The little pool was perfect for our children ages 4-10. Tammy was very attentive when we needed her (for minor questions). Overall, a great vacation and we’ll be back!

Great times at Fish Tales
We enjoyed our stay here with our kiddos. We enjoyed looking at the stars on the deck. We also enjoyed the pool. The view is great and we will be back! Dyana and Tammy were helpful and great. Thank you!

Fun house near Reef Bay
The house has a nice view over fish Bay and out to little St James to the west. It is easy to get to, would recommend 4 wheel drive for St. John. The breeze through the house is wonderful and there are fans in each room. AC in both bedrooms works fine. It is a short hike from the house down to Reef Bay and then if you are adventurous over to the reef bay trail. We went from there all the way over it little lameshur and snorkeled and came back within a day. The views are amazing! The neighborhood is clean and safe and there are areas to walk. The property manager and the person who meets you at the ferry and drives with you to the property are very knowledgeable and nice and will take care of any issues. Thanks to the property manager for taking care of us when we were delayed a day because we missed our flight! We had a blast hiking and going to beaches all over the island and looking at the stars at night out on the deck. Highly recommended!!

Great stay at Fish Bay
Everyone had a great time staying at Fish Bay. The location was nice and quiet with a nice view of the bay and almost-daily rainbows. There is a pond down below with various ducks and wading birds ( and lucky for us a Scarlet Ibis)!!! The cottage had a nice homey and relaxing feel. We had everything we needed to cook or grill with. Coolers to pack lunch for the day and beach towels. Also had a spotting scope, which came in handy for watching the Scarlet Ibis. The pool was nice to come back to after a day of hiking. Everyone at Fish Bay was very prompt in answering any questions we had. A special shout out to Dayna for trying to keep up with our incoming flight being delayed several times,( just catching the last ferry to St.John), and helping us out on our hike!! We traveled all over the Island and were always glad to come back to Fish Bay. Would highly recommend staying here.

Fantastic property that was just as advertised

Perfect spot to relax on the island!
Our stay at Fish Tails was absolutely wonderful!! The home was clean, comfortable, and we had everything needed to enjoy a delicious Thanksgiving meal for the holiday. Communication with Tammy was spot on, and we would definitely recommend this stay to anyone coming to St. John.
